DreamPlan Home Design Software is a Windows utility that enables you to create your own house plan and interior design. This program provides you with many graphic images to attach to your design project, lets you preview your work in 2D or 3D mode, and brings you easy-to-configure settings.
The application gives you access to a sample file which contains almost any type of element that can be included in a project (floor, walls, exterior items, furniture, etc.). When creating your own project you can choose between multiple view modes (from on top of the building, through walls, per story, etc.). Each item you add to your design project can be placed anywhere on the house plan, rotated, and even resized.
In my testing, I found it difficult to change the position and angle of the camera. I had to use the given controls from the interface and rarely had the ability to use my mouse (clicking over a certain area and rotate or zoom in).
Another aspect that bothers me is that the application supports only one format if you want to export your project - JPG. It also lacks an option to print your designs directly from its interface.
It's worth giving this program a try if none of the aforementioned aspects don't mean much to you. The app offers you many design settings, allows you to preview your project in 2D or 3D view mode, and comes with a reasonable price.
