This program lets you build the plans of your house and visualize it in 3D in a very easy manner. When you open the application, the splash screen asks you if you want to start a new project, view a sample project or open an existing project. When you use the program for the first time, it may be a good idea to open a sample project and start playing around with the different options. You can add an extra wall, change the type of ceiling, choose a different painting color, and so on. Then, you may want to start a new project from scratch.
The program shows a grid that helps you to set your project according to the space available in your actual property. Then, you can start designing the surrounding wall, and adding windows, doors and other elements. You can also add a railing around the house. The program offers you a great amount of options to choose the type of ceiling, roof, window and painting color both inside and outside your model. Besides being useful for planning the construction or remodeling of your house, the program is also fun to use.
The only disadvantage I found is that the controls are not very intuitive. For example, I struggled a bit when adding a wall, since I didn't know how to delimit its length. Other than that, the program is easy to use.
The application is free for home, non-commercial use. If you are a professional architect and intend to use the program commercially, then you will need to purchase a license, which is not expensive at all.
